A SOLAR TRACKER POWER AND LIGHTING SYSTEM

Submitted by srobotics@smack.sc.ug on March 27, 2025 06:03 PM
Project Year:
2025
Abstract:

1. Increased Energy Efficiency

- Maximized Sunlight Exposure: Solar trackers can follow the sun's trajectory, allowing panels to maintain an optimal angle relative to the sun. This significantly boosts energy production compared to fixed installations.

 2. Advanced Technology Integration

- Sensors and Automation: Trackers use sophisticated sensor technologies (like photodiodes) and automated control systems to detect sunlight intensity and make real-time adjustments. This high level of automation enhances their efficiency.

 3. Dual-Axis Capability

- Two-Dimensional Tracking: Dual-axis trackers can adjust both azimuth (horizontal) and elevation (vertical), allowing them to optimize for seasonal changes in the sun's position, which improves performance throughout the year.
